Fly direct between Brazil and the Dominican Republic on Gol Linhas Aereas, the Brazilian airline. The popular flights had been suspended due to Covid-19 and the restrictions on travelers from Brazil that is third after the United States and India in the number of cases of Covid-19. The airline announced it would resume direct flights to Mexico and the Dominican Republic starting in November.

With the advancement of the vaccination program throughout Brazil, Gol believes that passengers already feel safer to travel to other countries. Gol is confirming flights to Punta Cana (PUJ) in the Dominican Republic as the airline resumes its international flights in November.

Gol will be flying to Punta Cana from Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) starting 13 November 2021. The flights are scheduled to be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturday afternoons. The flights will be operated with Boeing 737-8 aircraft with capacity for 186 passengers, providing 1,116 seats per week in the DR.
