In order to provide material that invites both national and foreign travelers to enjoy the destination and its attractions, the Samaná Tourism Cluster (CTS) and the Samaná Hotels and Tourism Companies Association (AHETSA) have launched the fourth edition of the “Go Samaná” Tourist Guide.
The publication offers up-to-date information to tourists about the experiences they can enjoy in the destination, including its historical and architectural heritage, gastronomy, and cultural agenda. The guide covers the three municipalities of Santa Bárbara, Las Terrenas, and Sánchez, as well as their districts: El Limón, Las Galeras, and Arroyo Barril.
“Samaná is a destination with enormous natural and cultural wealth. It stands out for its paradisiacal beaches, beautiful landscapes, and the magical nature of its protected areas, which can be complemented with the observation of flora and fauna, as well as whale watching and the observation of endemic birds,” expressed Jesús Durán, president of the CTS.
On the other hand, Juan Bancalari, president of AHETSA, stated, “Our guide is the ultimate tool that showcases to all tourists what Samaná has to offer and allows them to have an unforgettable vacation, enjoying everything that this lush Caribbean paradise located in the northeast of the Dominican Republic has, such as its history, culture, gastronomy, natural resources, palm forests, beautiful beaches, and much more.”
“We aim to continue captivating travelers who are interested in transformation and changing their perspectives on travel, and whose values align precisely with the sustainable tourism approach promoted by Samaná,” he added.
