Through resolution 99-2022, the entity indicated that the performance of random rapid detection tests for Covid-19, both for passengers and crew, upon arrival in the Dominican Republic is nullified.

However, the state aviation policy regulatory body clarified that random testing operations may be carried out when necessary. Likewise, passengers who present their vaccination card would be exempt from random tests.

The JAC also indicated that the measures will be reviewed in the event that new actions are required to prevent the entry into Dominican territory of variants of Covid-19.
